Development is still cracking away at code, as new and exciting features are emerging. \u00a0I’m sure you’ve already seen the design changes to the front page. \u00a0Today I’d like to share some of the “behind the scenes” features that we are currently implementing.<\/p>\n
Render Node management has seen a LOT of development over the past week. \u00a0Registration for new nodes is now completely done through the front-end. \u00a0All of your nodes can be managed from one page as well. \u00a0Adding, Removing, Remote Rebooting, and Remote Shutdown are all working. \u00a0Node Clustering and Cluster management is working as well. \u00a0These are huge features for node management, and I would expect to see other’s added as time goes by.<\/p>\n
Project Management and the Member Interface workflow is being (re)designed. \u00a0We’ve got a lot of the core functionality done, and now we’re “simplifying” the process of managing your render projects. \u00a0The UI elements are being designed with complete Ajax functionality, so uploading and downloading your project files is a breeze along with previewing your renders.<\/p>\n
Queue Status Monitoring is emerging from the code as well. \u00a0Let’s face it, waiting in lines is inevitable. \u00a0But at least you’ll be able to monitor where your projects stand. \u00a0With the addition of new nodes and hardware upgrades (which you’ll hear about later), the queue will hopefully become a thing of the past. \u00a0We are truly aiming to get your jobs done as quickly and productively as possible.<\/p>\n
